Up until now, the song Your Grace is Enough written by Matt Maher rings in my ears.

It plays so much more even in the midst of happenings like the recent Mike Guglielmucci incident.

The first verse of the song goes like this (Chris Tomlin version):

Great is Your faithfulness Oh God,
You wrestle with the sinner's heart.

And so amazing and true this verse is. God is wrestling for Mike Guglielmucci's heart all this while.
Yes, God wrestles for Mike's heart even when Mike was fooling so many people.

In Luke 15 : 1-7 talks about the Parable of the Lost Sheep.
Jesus talks about a shepard losing 1 sheep out of 100 sheep and leaving the 99 behind, goes out to open country and finds that ONE LOST SHEEP. And having found that one lost sheep; rejoices.

And verse 7 concludes with this "I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."

According to a news website, it was written that Mike Guglielmucci had a dream a couple of weeks before he confessed. In that dream was Jesus on the cross looking down at him and saying to him, 'the truth shall set you free' . And he confessed shortly after that

I like what Keith mentioned, that we can choose to either 'Pray for Mike Guglielmucci' or 'Prey on Mike Guglielmucci'.

God is wrestling with your heart today.

Rejoice together with heaven or scoff at the sinner.

Your Choice.

But remember, God is wrestling for your heart. :)

Never Let Go

I guess most of you should now know that the A-Levels results have been out for quite awhile.

Throughout this whole journey of my pre-exam to exam to post-exam, I've been struck by one thing.
And it struck me on that very day I received my results or rather after some reflection. We all know that reflection can't exactly be done thoroughly when one is overwhelmed by a certain excitement.

God's grace is sufficient for me.

I never really understood it all.
Yes, God's grace goes far beyond our imagination and our knowledge.
But the verse in 2 Corinthians 12 : 9, written by Paul.
I really couldn't grasp its meaning.
I believe I can't fully grasp it with perfection for perfection lies in the Perfecter.
Not until recently, I couldn't grasp its meaning.

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. - 2 Corinthians 12 : 9 (NKJV)

My results weren't spectacular and flying with colours. But what I got was sufficient for me to get into a good university for the specific course I am planning to take.

Yea, it's a good university but it's not the best/top i.e. Oxford, Harvard, Stanford ...etc. But the interesting thing is, although it would be great if I could be accepted into a top university, I do not desire it. I am not the type who will fight for it or "if I don't get it I will die".

His grace is sufficient for me.
Enough for me.

The song Your Grace is Enough by Matthew Maher is a lyrical declaration of 2 Corinthians 12 :9.
And from there it just came to me on the day of my results. And it's so true.
It's so true that...
His grace is specifically tailored to each individual. God doesn't give extra grace nor does he give less. Matthew 7 : 7-11 justifies that.
This means... His grace is enough for Philip. His grace is enough for Tom. His grace is enough for Sally.
His grace is enough for all of us!

The question is, do we realise it?

“You come of the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve,” said Aslan. “And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth. Be content.” – The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (novel)

Our genetic code boils down to our first and foremost father and mother, Adam and Eve. We are all related. We are all one family, the human race.

So, why do we disrespect others by discriminating?

A noble cause...
A faithful desire
A big dream
Crazy Thinking.

If I do leave Malaysia,
May my heart stay true
May my blood still be faithful
May my tongue not forget the lahs and lors
And the taste of mamak and fusion galore

May the guidance of my parents remain
The teachings of my teachers not fade
The friendships that were sown not scattered
And the wonderful smiles of hers be the same

With a hope that I might return one day
To build up this nation in the right ways
To help her be righteous and bring glory to You
To spur kindness and greatness among brethren
To show Your love to my nation.

Nehemiah 2:3-5
May I return to the city where my fathers are buried so that I can rebuild it.

Crazy ideas and nobles thoughts will not be understood by all. Persecution and damnation will come. Misunderstanding from the closest kin will arise.
But where does my help come from? It comes from the Lord.

This is why I believe that focus is so important.
To focus on the Lord God.
And all problems, troubles, doubt, cynicism, negativity, gains, losses, achievements, success and all the things on this earth that grabs us.... will fade away into the blur.

Isaiah 32:8 - But a noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands.

No,
I'm not neglecting this blog.

No,
This blog is not dead...yet.

Yes,
I am back due to some inspiration from God and persuasion/encouragement from peers.

Let me bring you back to weeks of mine that I should have but did not update you about.

Let see…

Joined a Couz cell.. Glow United!, went to Melaka, started 40 Day Fast&Prayer, went to Sentul for KidsLife, Bangkok, Passion Conference... all in less than a month!

Life's been crazy busy.
Honestly it's been busier compared to when I was in college (I don't do my assignments nor study, haha).
But it's been great. It's good to be busy however there is always need to set aside time for Sabbath (Rest).
Most times, us humans tend to carry too many weights on our shoulders. Some, even to the point of separation anxiety with having to lay down their weights. However, one's stamina always has a limit. Once the limit is reached, burnout comes.

One thing I learn is that amidst all this busyness, God is amazingly gracious and all powerful. Every day, He allows me to lay down all my troubles and worries at His feet. My all, I release to Him. From then, His strength and grace guides me through the day. It’s something so amazing and surreal that I can’t explain it.

My Sabbath is not limited to only the weekends. But the Sabbath/Rest for me is each and every time I spend in His presence. The peace that He gives transcends all understanding. The human mind cannot fathom nor imagine the power and grace of God. Wow.

I shall digress to Passion.
Isaiah 26:8 says

Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws,
we wait for you;
your name and renown
are the desire of our hearts.

That is declaration the Passion movement lives by.

For me, the Passion conference was great.
Louie spoke about grace and making your life count.

And yes,
I consecrate myself to walk in the way of Your laws.
I wait for You
To make Your name and renown the desires of my heart and in the heart of others
To make my life count.

It still flows down to another waterfall.
Will you jump?
